Hey everyone! Welcome to the new and improved website for Elgin, North Dakota! It’s been in the works for some time, but we’re getting the final pieces pulled together, and you’ll see them being added throughout the next few weeks.
We hope to make this a place where people in the community, from the community, and hopefully coming to the community can all interact with each other. We’ll be trying to keep up to date information about what the town is doing, events that are happening, and interesting things from the area.
If you have an idea for a way we can leverage the internet to promote Elgin, please get in touch with us. Contact information will be up soon, or you can find people around town to talk to. You can find me, Shawn Kirsch, around town and grab my attention. I have a very good grasp of resources available, things that have been or are being tried elsewhere, and a wide variety of new things that we’ll be able to try soon. I also have a wide network of people who are passionate about rural America, and they are eager to give help and advice where they can.
Keep coming back, we’ll be putting up some blog posts to help explain to you what some of the things around this site can do, and how/why you should use them.
