MDU Gives Hospital Foundation Gift

The second Horizon meeting was held on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Our Place Café. 19 people attended. See below...The class was presented by Duane and Gail Schatz and Harry Zacher facilitators.

   (Elgin, ND)   On behalf of Montana Dakota Utilities Co., Jeff Hillius, presented the second payment of the generous $20,000 pledge made during the Hospital's Foundation Capital Campaign "Investing In Tomorrow, Today"….Thank You very much.

County Leadership Meeting Held In Elgin

       The Grant County LeadershipPlenty held the second session on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Our Place with 19 people attending. Those that attended both sessions will be receiving a Certificate of Completion. LeadershipPlenty is a program designed to develop "Civic Change"  and was designed to help citizens with skills like effective communication, conflict management, and partnership building that they can use to work together as community leaders to reduce poverty. Horizons Leadership Program Enters Into

Third Phase with County Survey

The Grant County Horizons leadership program has entered into the third phase with conducting community wide surveys aimed at reducing poverty  in small communities. The Horizons program builds stronger community leadership and embraces the entire community as it believes everyone has something to give.
